عندما تمرد شعب الله عليه نسوا أنهم هم من تركوه. الله لم يتركهم. لقد كانوا يتسائلون لماذا لم تعد موجودة قوة الروح القدس بينهم و في شعبهم و لكنهم في واقع الأمر أحزنوه و عادوا روح الله الحي. روح الله لن يتركنا و لكن من الممكن أن نحزنه (اف ٣٠:٤), نطفئ حضوره (١ تس ١٩:٥-٢٠), و نقاوم تعليمه (اع ٥١:٧). اشتياقنا لحضور الله بداخلنا من خلال الروح القدس هو شئ جيد. هذا الاشتياق يذكرنا بحاجتنا للرجوع إلى الله!

صلاة اليوم

أيها الآب المحب الإله القدوس العظيم, تشتاق روحي لحضورك. احتاج لارشادك. ادرك أن عدم رغبتي في سماع صوتي تسبب لي في الحزن و انفصالي عنك. من فضلك سامحني. باسم يسوع أصلي. آمين.
