God's Holy Fire: 'Our Guide'

Thursday, December 3, 2026

[Jesus said,] "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future."

Key Thought

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work in harmony as the one, true, living God. Jesus sends the Spirit to us when we become his true followers (Titus 3:3-7). The Spirit guides us into the truth about the will of God and about Jesus - the truth about both Jesus' ministry while he was physically on earth and his subsequent ministry, including his ministry now. So let's ask for the Spirit to guide us into all the truth about Jesus.

Today's Prayer

Almighty God, I address you as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. I am astounded at your majesty, greatness, and holiness. I ask now, O God, that the Holy Spirit guide me into all truth about Jesus and into wisdom, understanding, and conviction about the life you want me to live. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
