When Jesus was hungry, alone, and had been contemplating his mission that would end on a cross, Satan's temptations were quite enticing! Satan will tempt us to prove our importance just like he tempted Jesus. Max Lucado reminds us that Satan will try to tempt us to be important and to show out rather than to serve, just like he did with Jesus.

We are Jesus' heart, hands, and feet. Let's remind each other that we should bless the broken, forgotten, left out, and needy. The best way I know to start trying this love language shift is to use it with Jesus. Phil Ware reminds us how important it is to use love language with those who are precious to us and we can begin by doing this with Jesus.
