Spiritual Warfare: 'Worry Never Accomplishes Anything'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, October 30, 2026

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess my bad habit of worrying. I have often let my fears turn into constant worry, giving Satan a foothold in my life. I guess I thought that worrying would lead me to a solution, Lord, but that wasn’t true-it just led to greater worries, greater fears, and thoughts of depression and suicide. Deliver me from my worries and fears, Lord, and help me to learn to trust Your many promises of provision and help. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
