Spiritual Warfare: 'Blaming Others for Our Sin'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, July 23, 2025

God asked, "Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat fruit from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?" The man said, "You gave this woman to me and she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it." Then the Lord God said to the woman, "How could you have done such a thing?" She answered, "The snake tricked me, so I ate the fruit."

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for all the times I have blamed others for my own sins. I have used feeble excuses and often refused to accept responsibility for my own bad decisions rather than admitting I had done wrong and facing the consequences while repenting. Help me to stop and think before I rush in and participate in the things that entice me, Lord. Help me to pray for Your guidance before making a decision. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
