Spiritual Warfare: 'Don’t Fear a Lack of Money – God Will Help'

God's Power for Our Battles — Monday, June 30, 2025

Don’t love money. Be happy with what you have because God has said, ‘I will never abandon you or leave you.’ So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can mortals do to me?"

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess that in the past I have put far too much emphasis on money and things. I worked more hours to make more money to get more stuff. Now I realize that this stemmed from a lack of faith on my part. I choose now to trust You for my future needs and focus more on Your agenda than on my own kingdom. Be with me, Lord, just as You promised, and help me to learn to trust You better. Please don’t let my family suffer because of this and help me to realize what things in life are truly important. Then help me to focus on these things and be content with what You provide. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
