Spiritual Warfare: 'Avoid Sexual Immorality and All Impurity'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, January 29, 2026

So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

Today's Prayer

Lord, You know I’m only human, and I’m susceptible to sexual desires and immoral temptations that can lead to a life of regret and heartache - and eventually to an eternity in hell, far from Your love. Deliver me from these evil practices and desires so I can honor my covenants and encourage others to do the same. Show me the way out when I’m about to head down the wrong path; lead me closer to You and fill me with satisfaction within the perimeters of marriage and wholesome service to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
