Saturday, August 2, 2025

Key Thought

There are simply some things that no one, not even the smartest among us, can understand without the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:12-14). One of the greatest blessings we can ask God to send to our brothers and sisters in Christ is what Paul prayed for the Colossian Christians: "We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives!" So who do you need to pray this blessing upon today? Church leaders? Family members? New believers? Those who have lost their way? So let's pray it for them!

Today's Prayer

O Father, I ask that you bless the following people with the knowledge of your will so that they can have full spiritual wisdom and understanding that comes only through the Holy Spirit: ... (Pray for specific people, by name, who are on your heart today.) In Jesus' name, I ask this. Amen.
