Spiritual Warfare: 'Live with Devotion and Hope in Jesus'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, November 27, 2026

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Today's Prayer

Lord, please forgive me for my past life of sin, self-centeredness, and a focus on my personal pleasure. Help me to begin to live in wisdom, righteousness, and dedication to Your Word, to prayer, and to a healthy relationship with You. Lord, I know this will bring the hope I am longing for-hope for a better future and a life worth living. I look forward to the wonderful day when Your glory will be revealed at Your return to earth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
