Spiritual Warfare: 'Christians Tell Demons to Leave Permanently'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, November 25, 2026

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!"

Today's Prayer

Lord, the world today seems to have gone crazy, and unclean demonic spirits seem to be everywhere, deceiving many. Help Christians to recognize who the true enemy is and that the enemy is unseen (Ephesians 6); and help us to learn how to pray against it and to exercise our authority in Jesus to remove it-permanently. And then please don’t let us forget to include, as Jesus did here, to command that they never return to the person they leave. Satan and his demons have had free reign because we haven’t even recognized them as real. Open our eyes to the truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
