Spiritual Warfare: 'God Is Savior, Shield, Safe Place, and Protector'

God's Power for Our Battles — Tuesday, September 23, 2025

I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I have no strength to go on-unless you provide it. I have no fortress or place of safety-unless you make one for me. I am exposed and vulnerable without Your loving protection. I am powerless against my attackers until You come to my aid. I call on You, Lord, asking for help and strength and endurance and life, and I know You will not turn me down or leave me stranded. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
