Spiritual Warfare: 'Do Not Stop Him!'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, August 29, 2025

John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he was not following us." But Jesus said, "Do not stop him, for no one who does a mighty work in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me."

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for criticizing other people for doing good things for this world in Jesus name just because they are not from my own little group. Forgive me for thinking I had all the right methods and all the best answers to the difficult questions in life. Give me a heart to accept and support them in the good things they are doing that don’t originate from my tribe and my camp. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
