Spiritual Warfare: 'Past Sins Do NOT Mean You Can’t Come to God'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, August 1, 2026

Joshua was wearing dirty clothes and was standing in front of the angel. The angel said to those standing in front of him, ‘Take off those dirty clothes.’ Then the angel said to Joshua, ‘Look, I have taken away your sin from you, and I am giving you beautiful, fine clothes.’

Today's Prayer

Lord, I know Satan wants me to think that You will never accept me because of my sinful past, but that’s just not true. Thank You for not only accepting me with all my warts and weaknesses, but also for taking away my sinful past and replacing all my sin-stained clothes with a fresh, white one that represents my new status of being forgiven, accepted, and adopted. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
