Spiritual Warfare: 'Immorality and Greed Keeps You Out of Heaven'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, July 11, 2026

You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

Today's Prayer

Lord, more than anything else, my heart’s desire is to go to heaven. I don’t want to fall into any of Satan’s traps for me or be overcome with any earthly pleasure or activity that will keep me from living with You forever. So please deliver me from immorality and from greed for more of what this world has to offer and help me to focus on the good things in life that will help my loved ones and me to end up with You forever. Open my own eyes to any and all impurities that separate me from You, Lord, and help me to be free from them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
