Spiritual Warfare: 'Anger Can Control You if You Let It'
God's Power for Our Battles — Monday, March 24, 2025
A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry.
Lord, forgive me for letting my anger control me in the past. I have acted rashly and spoken harshly to my spouse, my children, and even to my friends. Help them to forgive me. Let my words be gentle and wise in the future, Lord, and keep me from having a condescending attitude in my speech and words. Let goodness and patience flow from my spirit in the future-even when I disagree with the other person. Remind me that harsh words cause anger and malice, and loud words induce pain and ill will. Keep me from ruining my friendships with harshness in my speech. In Jesus’ name, amen.
