You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.
Lord, I confess that I have let disobedience and wickedness creep into my life in many small, subtle ways. I don’t want to be caught in the traps that lie ahead on that road. I don’t want to be destroyed or have disaster be a sure part of my future as a result of these bad decisions I’ve made. Deliver me from the evil end that’s on this road ahead. Help me to nurture honesty, kindness, and obedience into my daily life from now on and root out all the wickedness within my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
