As I was reading Luke in my reflection time, it dawned on me what I had been reading about — celebration! Celebrate the Passover and the Feast of Weeks. Celebrate the Lord's Day! Celebrate times with food and family. Celebrate another day of life. Celebrate health and re-claimed health. Celebrate God's glory!

We have a few days we usually celebrate — like birthdays, Christmas, New Year's, and national holidays. However, if I understand the Bible correctly, we celebrate more than just specific holidays during the year. We celebrate continually in God's love, healing, and provision daily.

We can wake up every day celebrating. Isn't that neat? We don't have to wait for Christmas anymore — every day is a celebration day!

Then there is another reason to celebrate. All of us who believe come together once a week on the Lord's Day for a special celebration, gathering with each other.

Every day is for celebrating and rejoicing in the day of life, grace, and forgiveness!

In that day the people will proclaim, "This is our God. We trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!" (Isaiah 25:9 NLT)

We don’t have to wait!
