What Jesus Did! 'Entrance Requirements?' — Mark 10:17

Sunday, July 14, 2024

As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

Key Thought

This man's question is a great one, but did it come from a genuine heart? You will have to read the following verses for yourself and decide if this man's heart was genuine. Better yet, why not look at your own heart and ask the Lord Jesus this same question? I believe if you listen, he will make what you need to do clear to you, if he has not already done so.

Today's Prayer

O God, please help me be confident of my future with you. May that confidence be based on my obedient response to your gracious gift of salvation. I trust that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will empower me to be and to do what pleases you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
