What Jesus Did! 'Kingdom Preview' — Mark 9:1

Saturday, June 1, 2024

Jesus went on to say, "I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power!"

Key Thought

The Kingdom and the power of heaven belong to the Son. Those who belong to Jesus can experience his power and belong to his Kingdom! The question is not, "Can God can make this possible?" He already has in Jesus. The crucial question is, "Have I decided to honor God's Kingdom and live for his Son, Jesus, so that his "great power" can be at work in me? [1]

Today's Prayer

Father, I want to see the power of Jesus unfold and to experience the full victory of your Kingdom when he comes. Align my heart with you so that it is fit for your Kingdom. Remove any duplicity, dishonesty, and doubt so that I can serve you with an undivided heart. In Jesus' name. Amen.
