Unstoppable! 'Jesus Is the Messiah!' — Acts 5:42

Wednesday, March 18, 2026

And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, [these early disciples] continued to teach and preach this message: "Jesus is the Messiah."

Key Thought

Jesus is the Messiah - the anointed Savior sent from God to Israel first, then to everyone! (Romans 1:16; Matthew 28:18-20) The early disciples shared this bold message regardless of threat, persecution, and martyrdom. The Holy Spirit's power within them and their commitment to Jesus' mission for them made their message unstoppable! Notice where they shared this message: publicly in the Temple and privately from house to house. In addition, be inspired by the frequency: every day. Sharing the message of Jesus, the Messiah, was their life! Now, let's ask ourselves if sharing Jesus' message is our burning passion today, both as individuals and for our churches?

Today's Prayer

O Father, the early witnesses to Jesus are inspiring and convicting to me. They were convinced and convicted about who Jesus was and is and were committed to him and to sharing the message that he was, is, and forever will be the Messiah. Thank you for their example. I want to live with a similar conviction and commitment to help others know that Jesus is our only way to find life and all that your salvation brings. I pray this in the name of and by the authority of Christ Jesus, my Messiah. Amen.
