Spiritual Warfare: 'Peace for Those Who Depend upon God'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, December 27, 2026

At that time people will sing this song in Judah: We have a strong city. God protects us with its strong walls and defenses. Open the gates, and the good people will enter, those who follow God. You, Lord, give true peace to those who depend on you, because they trust you.

Today's Prayer

Lord, true peace is what we want, and it’s more obvious every day that it won’t come until You return. We look forward to Your coming and to living with people of faith: those who follow You and depend on You. What a wonderful joy it will be to live together in peace and harmony and eternal love. Sustain us, Lord, until that day comes, and help us to be good ambassadors until that time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
