Teach me your decrees, O Lord;I will keep them to the end.Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart. Make me walk along the path of your commands,for that is where my happiness is found.
Lord, so much of the Bible seems hard and confusing, and that has made me put it down and become discouraged. Now I ask You to forgive me for that bad decision. Create in me a fresh desire for Your Word, and an understanding far beyond what I knew before. Teach me and guide me as I read and study. I know now that true happiness is found in Your instructions, and I want to dive into a deeper relationship with You from now on. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
