Spiritual Warfare: 'God Rescues from Oppression and Suffering'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, October 3, 2026

Whenever the Lord raised up a judge over Israel, he was with that judge and rescued the people from their enemies throughout the judge’s lifetime. For the Lord took pity on his people, who were burdened by oppression and suffering.

Today's Prayer

Lord, You are the One who rescues. You look down and take pity on Your people-those dedicated to serving You. You know exactly who is suffering and being oppressed and precisely how they are hurting. You know every heart - You are the heart-knower. You know MY heart, Lord, and You know the depression and anxiety I feel so deep inside. Thank You for the promise of deliverance and hope. Help me to tell others of Your miraculous ability to rescue; give me opportunities to share this story. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
