Spiritual Warfare: 'Don't Yield to False Gods!'

God's Power for Our Battles — Wednesday, August 26, 2026

They made God jealous with foreign gods and angry with hateful idols. They made sacrifices to demons, not God, to gods they had never known, new gods from nearby, gods your ancestors did not fear. You left God who is the Rock, your Father, and you forgot the God who gave you birth.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I know it’s all or nothing with You. You will never accept only half my heart; only my wholehearted love and devotion. Forgive me for being so lukewarm, halfway, and flippant in my commitment to serve and honor You. From now on, Lord, I want to be fully committed to serving and obeying You and all Your commandments. Give me courage and endurance to be able to follow through with this personal commitment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
