Spiritual Warfare: 'Love Is Proved Through Our Generous Love'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, August 23, 2026

We understand what love is when we realize that Christ gave his life for us. That means we must give our lives for other believers. Now, suppose a person has enough to live on and notices another believer in need. How can God’s love be in that person if he doesn’t bother to help the other believer?

Today's Prayer

Lord, give me a heart of love for other believers and a willingness to help those I am able to help. Put the people in my path that You want me to connect with and give aid to. Help me to open my heart, my life, and my billfold with generosity and enthusiasm-just as You did for me when Jesus gave His life on the cross on my behalf. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
