Spiritual Warfare: 'Turn to Jesus to Escape Enslaving Sing'

God's Power for Our Battles — Monday, August 10, 2026

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.

Today's Prayer

Lord, remind me that anything in my life that I put before You becomes my idol and enslaves me. Help me to escape from my own weaknesses and desires through Jesus. And please help me to avoid being entangled again in sin and evil. I want the freedom that comes from serving You and living for Your eternal Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
