Spiritual Warfare: 'God Speaks, and Doors Open at His Command'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, August 7, 2026

To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Today's Prayer

Lord, Your Words are truly powerful. You literally spoke the creation into existence. You are the God who is always able. Nothing is too hard for You. You know exactly what I need, Lord, and I know You can make it so; You can make it happen. If my heart’s desire fits with Your will for my life, and if it will bring You glory, please make it happen. When you do, Lord, remind me that You are the One who caused it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
