Spiritual Warfare: 'Under Slanderous Attacks I Trust in You!'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, June 19, 2026

I am constantly hounded by those who slander me, and many are boldly attacking me. But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

Today's Prayer

Lord, slander from others about me is very painful. Attacks like this seem to come from the most unlikely sources-other Christians who I thought I could trust to have my back. This hurts much more than ugly words that are said by folks I do not know. Father, please forgive them, because they don’t really understand the situation like You do. I trust You, Lord, and You alone to have my back. Thank You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
