Spiritual Warfare: 'Jesus Came to Show Mercy'

God's Power for Our Battles — Tuesday, June 17, 2025

What I say is true, and you should fully accept it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst. But I was given mercy so that in me, the worst of all sinners, Christ Jesus could show that he has patience without limit. His patience with me made me an example for those who would believe in him and have life forever.

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for sending Your only Son Jesus into the world to save sinners. I confess that I am a terrible sinner and that I need that sacrifice so I can be made right with You. Help me to be a witness to others who have yet to accept Jesus and obey His commandments. Let them see Him in my daily example so they can come to faith. I want them to have everlasting life, too, Lord, so please let them see You as they look at me. Help me to be a good ambassador. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
