Spiritual Warfare: 'Demons Promote Worldly Theories About God'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, May 8, 2026

Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

Today's Prayer

Lord, deliver me from following the empty philosophies and nonsensical theories about God that cause me to doubt the Bible. Help me to know the truth so well that I recognize these human attempts to explain away the clear teachings of Scripture. Thank You for reminding me that this comes not only from human wisdom but also from evil spiritual powers in the unseen - like Satan and his demons. Give me the right words at the right moment to battle these attacks and honor You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
