Lord, I choose to live in covenant relationship with You. I choose to obey Your commands and be faithful to Your principles. Thank You for reminding me in this story of David and Goliath that being in covenant with You has important benefits, and that those outside of a covenant relationship with You don't have access to those benefits: Your love, protection, deliverance, and strength to overcome the giants in my daily life. Help me to face my future with confidence now that I'm reminded of Your involvement in the lives of all those in covenant with You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
