Spiritual Warfare: 'Prove You Are God’s: Pray for Your Enemies'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, March 28, 2025

But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong.

Today's Prayer

Lord, this is a hard one. My hard heart wants me to wish bad things on the people who have hurt me-even church people. Many times, Lord, it’s church people-even Christian leaders-who have treated me the worst. But if they end up in hell, Lord, I don’t want it to be because of me, so please forgive them for what they have done to me. Wipe their slate clean. Right now, I forgive them and pray that You will make good things happen to them; give them what they need most of all, Lord, whatever it is. Help them also to forgive me, and help us to work together from now on in unified service to You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
