Spiritual Warfare: 'God Protects Christians so We Can Testify'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, March 20, 2025

Some Jews arrested me in the Temple for preaching this, and they tried to kill me. But God has protected me right up to this present time so I can testify to everyone, from the least to the greatest. I teach nothing except what the prophets and Moses said would happen—that the Messiah would suffer and be the first to rise from the dead, and in this way announce God’s light to Jews and Gentiles alike.

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your ongoing protection. Remind me that protection doesn’t mean nothing bad will ever happen to me, but that I am here to testify to Your greatness in whatever circumstances I find myself. Deliver me wherever You need me to testify for You: jail, a new job, another country, or anywhere You need a witness to tell others about Jesus. Give me the right words for each new opportunity that You provide. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
