Acts 3:20

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who he has...."

"[After accusing his audience of being ignorant of who Jesus was and killing him, Peter continued,] "Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that....."

When does no actually mean yes? Rubel Shelly reminds us that a life turn around begins with a no that is actually the first step in saying yes to life, and that no is repentance.
