He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8).

MO is at Black Rifle Coffee, Beyond Black is in the cup, Rock is in the air, and God is in the room doing what He does best.

I can feel the momentum building. He is gathering a band of agents, known and unknown, from around the world — everyday people — "broken people He has mended, and those from prison He has freed."

These followers are not what they used to be and not yet what they are going to be... they are learners.... they still have the same bodies, but on the inside, they are in process... being transformed from one calling to the next. And they are grateful and grace-filled. They are, after all, simply thrilled to be in His presence.

You've heard that the road ahead is narrow, but it's not about the road. It's about Jesus! The band is there because Jesus is there. The road is too narrow for "big heads" to make it. Being on this road — in the narrows — not about being good, or knowing the right answers, or attending the best church. The narrow road is humbling — wide enough for ONE. It is not about us at all. The narrow road is the only way to save us from ourselves. There is only room for Jesus on this narrow road.

Self-centered, prideful, condescending, big-headed people are not on the narrow way — regardless of how much they know about the narrows.

The rules of the road are not detailed and complicated. They are, however, sweeping and simple: To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

The followers follow... They walk where Jesus leads. These ordinary people, people who believe deeply in the Savior they follow. They are not undercover agents or highly trained operatives. They don't necessarily hold special degrees or training certificates. They are regular folks with a story to tell. They simply wake up each morning and look for Jesus, then walk the road He is on. He is the Way of the narrow road!

Ummmmm. Sounds a lot like walk humbly with your God!

Something new is happening in the narrows.

God is gathering...

God is gathering His agents from around the world — not in one place, but in His presence. Jesus is on the move, and the Spirit is wisely placing agents in just the right spots. We may be in the narrows, but we are not alone. We walk with Jesus! We follow him on the way!

After all, this dark world desperately needs light... not glaring, blinding light, but guiding, welcoming, and warming light — the reflected light of those who follow the Light.

Ummmmm.

Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means "son of Timaeus"), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"

Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

Jesus stopped and said, "Call him."

So they called to the blind man, "Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you." Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."

"Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road (Mark 10:46-52 — bold added for emphasis).

Something new is happening in the narrows.
