Consider these words from the wisest man who ever lived we get:
Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few (Ecclesiastes 5:2 NIV).
Don't make rash promises, and don't be hasty in bringing matters before God. After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few (Ecclesiastes 5:2 NLT).
Consider His words.
Consider this progression of thought:
God is in heaven and you are on earth. So, do not be quick with your mouth. Don't make rash promises. Do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. Don't be hasty in bringing matters before God. Let your words be few.
Consider this prayer:
Father in Heaven, speak and I will listen.
Consider His words.
