What Jesus Did! 'The Source of Healing and Cure' — Luke 6:18-19

Thursday, March 26, 2015

They all came to hear Jesus teach and to be healed of their sicknesses. Jesus healed those people that were troubled by evil spirits {from the devil}. All the people were trying to touch Jesus, because power was coming out from him. Jesus healed them all!

Key Thought

So often in ministry, we get to thinking that we have the power to make people better. Not only is this arrogant, but it is dangerously wrong. The best we can hope to be is a conduit of Jesus' grace. Jesus is the one who brings healing, not us. So as we seek to bless others, let's remember where we are trying to point them: not to something in us or about us, but to Jesus.

Today's Prayer

Almighty God, use me to help others to find Jesus. Please don't let my ego or my weaknesses interfere with others finding Jesus as their source of healing and cure. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
