What Jesus Did! 'Have You Asked?' — John 4:14-15

Sunday, March 6, 2022

[Jesus said to the woman at Jacob's well,] "But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life."

"Please, sir," the woman said, "give me this water! Then I'll never be thirsty again, and I won't have to come here to get water."

Key Thought

Even when we aren't sure what to ask, we need to come to Jesus and ask! We're thirsty. We're tired. Our resources are limited. Our strength is on the wane. We realize that we cannot manage alone. So let's ask, trusting God even if we are not sure what we should request; let's just ask for the water that quenches our thirst. The Lord will know what we need!

Today's Prayer

Holy God, I come to you in Jesus' name and ask that you fill that hole in my soul that I cannot quite identify. Quench my spiritual thirst and fill me with your living water. Amen.
