Multiplication of Ministry Recap

This week we've celebrated what God has done and shared what's next for this ministry.

Read Recap
Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the Lord can give an understanding wife.

Key Thought

Imagine how blessed the lives of a married couple would be if, every day of their marriage, they treated each other as a precious gift from God! That's the implication of this passage. A godly and understanding wife and husband and a close relationship between them are are intended to be essential parts of the gift sent by God to us in the form of another person in marriage. God's intention from the beginning was to bless, fulfill, and sexually satisfy both the husband and wife in marriage. [1] When a husband and wife recognize that God created each of them in their mother's womb, carefully planning their futures and designing their bodies, they can truly appreciate the gift of each other in their marriage. [2] If we are married, let's ask God to help us approach each day, as well as the person with whom we share it, as gifts sent to us from heaven. How we treat that person and enjoy our lives together is our gift back to God! If we are unmarried, let's identify a couple or two and pray they can learn this kind of appreciation for each other so they can discover God's gift to them in marriage.

Today's Prayer

Almighty God, help me to approach each day as a gift created by You to bless me and empower me to bless others. Holy Spirit, help me to approach people - especially the people in my family - as the Father's special treasures entrusted to my care. May whatever I do, say, and think be my response of thanks to You, God, for all of Your magnificent and generous gifts. In Jesus' name, I ask for Your grace and give thanks for Your gifts! Amen.
