Spiritual Warfare: 'God's Love is Perfected in Us When We Love'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, December 18, 2026

Dear friends, if God loved us that much we also should love each other. No one has ever seen God, but if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is made perfect in us. We know that we live in God and he lives in us, because he gave us his Spirit.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess that I have often shown very little love for others. These verses say directly that You live in me IF I show love to others. I want You to live in me, Lord, so please help me to have this love for others and show it in how I respond to others. I want Your love to be made perfect in me. I want others I interact with to feel Your love through my responses and my reactions. Help me to develop that kind of love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
