Spiritual Warfare: 'Watch for the Enemy and Pray for Your City'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, November 20, 2026

O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I stand in the gap against evil for my city. Give our city leaders ears to hear and eyes to see and recognize evil in any form. Grant them wisdom to know how to best deal with all attacks on our city. Let righteousness dwell here, and kindness rule the day. I stand against evil and wickedness and immorality in this area, and ask, Lord, for our region to be delivered from all forms of evil. Let peace fill our hearts and lives here in _______. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
