Spiritual Warfare: 'Fear God with Reverence and Praise'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, October 26, 2025

He said with a loud voice, "Fear God [with awe and reverence], and give Him glory [and honor and praise in worship], because the hour of His judgment has come; [with all your heart] worship Him who created the heaven and the earth, the sea and the springs of water.’

Today's Prayer

Lord, I confess that I have lived much of my life without the proper fear of You. I now know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10), so I want to have the proper fear and reverence for Your greatness from now on. I pray that my new attitude about Your power and greatness causes me daily to give you glory and honor - just as You deserve. Let my life be a constant worship of Your majesty and glory as I learn to live for You and encourage others to do the same. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
