Spiritual Warfare: 'God Strengthens and Protects from Disaster'

God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, October 10, 2026

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.

Today's Prayer

Lord, I am weak. Without You, Lord, I have no strength at all to continue. I confess my desire to run from my problems and to just give up, Lord, and if I didn’t have You to lean on, that’s exactly what I’d do. Please make me strong-in body and especially in mind. Fear threatens to overwhelm me and send me into depression. As I see all the scary things happening all around the world, Lord, it’s easy for me to feel total despair. Renew my strength, Lord, and let me feel Your power and take heart with my confidence in Your ability to help me overcome. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
