Spiritual Warfare: 'God Defends and Protects His Own'
God's Power for Our Battles — Saturday, September 6, 2025
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
Lord, You are the One I trust. You are my Creator, my Savior, my Lord, and my Master. I shout for JOY at the sound of Your Name and because You defend those who pledge their allegiance to You and Your Son Jesus. Thank You for blessing me, and for Your constant favor. Please continue to surround me with Your mighty shield of divine protection. You are my defense against the attacks from the world that I must withstand. Thank You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
"At this I [John] fell at [the angel's] feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters..."
"[Paul proclaimed his innocence to King Agrippa by explaining his conversion and call to share the Good News of Jesus with both Jews and Gentiles:]..."
"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped..."
