Spiritual Warfare: 'Destroying Oneself'

God's Power for Our Battles — Friday, July 25, 2025

Whatever these people don’t understand, they insult. Like animals, which are creatures of instinct, they use whatever they know to destroy themselves. How horrible it will be for them! They have followed the path of Cain. They have rushed into Balaam’s error to make a profit. They have rebelled like Korah and destroyed themselves.

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for often being so reactive in the past. I tend to jump on others and go on the attack before I know all the facts and have a complete understanding of a situation. Give me a gentle spirit and a patient heart to learn all the surrounding issues of a given situation before jumping in on the attack. And when I do respond, please help me to always do it in kindness and love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
