Spiritual Warfare: 'Foolishly Tricked Away from the Cross'

God's Power for Our Battles — Tuesday, July 22, 2025

You people in Galatia were told very clearly about the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. But you were foolish; you let someone trick you.

Today's Prayer

Lord, enemies of the truth about You are working hard to trick me out of believing it; offering convincing lies and subtle half-truths that deny You as God's Son, the ONLY way to heaven. Help me to recognize these subtle and clever lies so I won’t be sucked in and tricked out of my own salvation, just as Esau was tricked out of his birthright. Give me ears to hear Your voice, Lord, and eyes to clearly see when I’m about to be deceived. And give me boldness to stand up for truth -- no matter the consequences-because I know it will be eternally worth it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
