Spiritual Warfare: 'Displaying God's Wisdom in Heavenly Realms'

God's Power for Our Battles — Thursday, July 9, 2026

God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for minimizing the worth and value of the church-in spite of all the flaws and weaknesses of the people in the church. Remind me that the church is the bride of Christ, and that church is the place where the sheep are to go for encouragement and love and mutual support. Help me to live this reality with the sobering realization that You are displaying Your wisdom to the unseen powers and authorities in the heavenly realms. Help us to make You proud! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
