If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have failed again, and I know it breaks Your heart. I confess my weakness of _____ and ask You to cleanse me from every evil desire. Grant me strength and courage to turn away from _____ in the future. I want to be clean again in Your sight, Lord, and to be able to stand again in Your presence. Help me to conform my life to the pattern and example given through Your Son Jesus. In His Name, I pray, Amen.
"At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man..."
"The hill of comfort is the hill of Calvary; the house of consolation is built with the wood of the cross; the temple of heavenly blessing is founded....."
"Dear Father, the one real and only God, Give me more love and humility than knowledge, for "Knowledge puffs up but love builds up." People know lots...."
