Spiritual Warfare: 'A Good City Is Good for You'

God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, June 15, 2025

Also do good things for the city where I sent you as captives. Pray to the Lord for the city where you are living, because if good things happen in the city, good things will happen to you also.

Today's Prayer

Lord, forgive me for not praying for my town and for my lack of concern for it. Remind me, Lord, that You are very involved in my life, and that I’m here for a reason - to make a difference right around me. Give me a fresh pair of eyes to see my city and help me see what I can do to make things better here. Help me to hear better and therefore recognize the opportunities You are providing right around me for ministry and encouragement. Remind me to pray every day for my town and the people here, Lord, since a better town helps everyone, including Your own. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
