Spiritual Warfare: 'Resist the Temptation to Follow the Crowd'
God's Power for Our Battles — Sunday, April 19, 2026
You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand. You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the crowd to twist justice. And do not slant your testimony in favor of a person just because that person is poor.
Lord, there is so much pressure for me to follow the ways of the world and pursue money, power, sex, and position. Deliver me from the evil influences all around me that appeal to my sinful nature. Help me resist the urge to follow the crowd so I won't end up on a dead-end road. Save me from evil. Help me inspire others to a path of godliness as I follow the steps of Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
